Blatchford Entry Feature

This conceptual signage design was created for a new housing development in Edmonton, Alberta, situated on the grounds of a historic airfield used as an airbase during WWII. To honour this heritage, the design draws inspiration from the original airport. The wooden cross bars symbolize the former runways, while the weathered steel elements evoke the spirit of old aircraft propellers.

After initial sketches and drafts, I utilized AutoCAD to design the entry feature. I then translated the design into SketchUp for detailed drawing and rendering, using Enscape to create realistic renders.
